To Our Valued Participants, Families, Volunteers and Supporters,
At Inspire Equine Therapy Program, we love our participants and volunteers and take very seriously our role as an equine assisted activities center and a place you choose to come. As part of the Inspire's commitment to help protect the welfare of our clientele, each of you and the broader public, we wanted to share with you the precautions and protocols we are utilizing in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all who have been impacted by the coronavirus. While we take pride in our everyday practices to maintain a clean and sanitary environment here at Inspire, as of now, we have implemented additional measures that reflect the recommended standards of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Florida Health Department. As each of you already know anytime there is a contagious illness, those at greater risk have weakened immune systems. Our Inspire family is composed of these individuals. Taking all of this into consideration and the restrictions that have been put in place on all of us, Inspire has developed protocols for reopening to keep everyone as safe as possible.
To be able to open we need everyone, all participants, families, volunteers, and staff to review the attached documents, sign and return them to us by May 20, 2020. Once we receive all the signed paperwork that is attached we will be able to make a schedule for retraining of volunteers and a Stage 1 opening of the program. We hope to have the program back open in June. Please read over the paperwork carefully because policies have changed and there will be stages to our reopening, so not all participants and volunteers will be able to return right away.
In general all riders and drivers will need to have their own ASTM/SEI approved riding helmet. Oak Hollow Saddlery and Gifts located at 7752 66th Street N, Pinellas Park, FL 33781 will give a discount towards a helmet if you bring this letter to show them that you are with Inspire. We will be requiring that everyone wear a mask while on property, wash hands when arriving and leaving, social distance and we will be limiting persons on property to decrease touch points.
We are excited to have the program slowly reopening and seeing everyone in our "new reality". Please stay safe and contact us if you have any questions.
